Presentation : Float cast glass blocks are painstakingly arranged by hand to perfectly exacting standard, allowing a vital form to emerge in an imperious throne-like silhouette. Minosse recalls the artful and labyrinthine geometries of mythic palaces belonging to unknown civilisations, and pays homage to the supreme engineering skills of ancient craftspeople. With this sculpture, studiopluz imaginatively finds new forms of glass manipulation, transforming the glass surface into a proverbial canvas upon which paint is applied by hand.
