Raphaël Maman, born in 1993, is a visual artist based in Paris. He holds a degree in graphic design from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (2018) and graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2022. Working primarily with sculpture and installation, he critically examines the norms and standards that shape our everyday lives.

Through an approach that is both observational and phenomenological, he reveals the invisible systems that condition our bodies, govern our gestures, and frame our relationship to space. His work offers a nuanced reading of reality, laying bare the tension between the weight of social conventions and the lived, embodied experience of form.
